Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We are all cozied up here at home in Berlin- tree is decorated, Gluehwein drunk, goose is in the oven, Kir Royales about to be poured, Chris is gearing up to master the carmelizing of the potatoes....

Well hubbie and I are just returning from a week long stay on the sunny island of Cyprus, and I must say we are feeling a little down about returning to the grey skies of Berlin. After deciding to take an extra long vacation this holiday season, with home base at my parents' apartment in Berlin, we thought maybe a short jaunt to sun and warmth might be fun- some much needed sun for Christopher and some warm training weather for me! Our holiday plans were originally going to be rather more relaxed- however I have been invited to race representing Canada in BRAZIL!!
